Tighten your laces, grab the leash and get ready to join this year’s Paws For a Cause Fun Run and Doggie Dash. Revival Animal Health and Elanco are partnering for this year’s annual fun run/walk on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, 8:30 am CT on the recreational trail near the Le Mars, IA, airport. Join us in-person and run the 5K route or walk the one-mile route together. Or connect virtually from your own location, running or walking with your pup and sharing your experience in our Paws for a Cause Fun Run & Doggie Dash Facebook group.

What is Paws for a Cause?

Each year the Revival Animal Health Paw Squad organizes this event to support a pet-focused nonprofit, giving 100 percent of proceeds back to that organization. Wet-Nose Rescue in Le Mars, IA, is the 2023 recipient. This volunteer-powered group rescues and shelters homeless, neglected, and abandoned dogs and cats until they find loving fur-ever homes. You can run the 5K or walk the one-mile doggie dash with or without a dog! If a 5K is too much for you or your pooch, the one-mile doggie dash is a perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air with your four-legged friend! No need to dash, you can also stroll.

How Can I Be Part of this Tail-Wagging Event?

Simply register at getmeregistered.com/pawsforacauserun. The virtual event will be held between August 16^th and 26^th, 2023, giving you ten days, wherever you are located, to do your walk/run/doggie dash at your own pace.

What’s the Benefit of Early Paws for a Cause Signup?

The first 100 registrants receive Paws for a Cause t-shirts and amazing swag bags! In-person participants will receive your bags the day of the event. Virtual runners can pick up your bags at Revival Animal Health in Orange City, IA, or they will be shipped to you before the start date so you can wear your shirt out on your run. After signing up, you’ll also get a link to the event’s Facebook group. We’d love to see pictures of you on your run or with your four-legged friends on your doggie dash.
