RP-Z Long-Term Stallion Semen Extender is the ideal solution for maintaining stallion sperm motility over extended periods. Featuring a simple 1-step mixing process, it ensures reliable performance, especially for challenging stallions. As a superior alternative to the now unavailable VMD-Z extender, RP-Z offers enhanced performance due to its improved formulation. Each box includes a packet of extender and a bottle of water, providing a total mixed volume of 200 ml. Each extender box contains: (1) packet extender powder. (1) bottle prepared mixing water. Supplied mixing water from must be used to reconstitute the extender into its final mixed volume. Provided water includes a required additive for optimal functionality of the extender.
Product Powder Contains: Sugar, salts, skim milk, casein, amino acids, cholesterol, Amikacin and Potassium Penicillin (K-Pen) and preservative.
Instructions: Gently tap an edge of the powdered extender packet on a solid surface to make sure contents are settled away from the top edge. Tear the top edge of the extender packet open at the notch (or cut with scissors) and carefully empty the entire contents of the packet into the provided mixing water. Re-cap the bottle firmly with the combined contents and gently invert the bottle back and forth for at least two minutes until the powder mixes thoroughly into the water. Alternately, empty the contents of both the packet and water bottle into a clean glass beaker and use a spoon or magnetic solution stirring device to fully mix the powdered contents into the water. Once fully mixed, allow the solution to equilibrate for an additional fifteen minutes. Carefully warm the contents of the mixed extender to the desired temperature (matching as closely to the temperature of the collected semen as possible). Slowly pour the calculated amount of extender into the semen collection based on your target concentration ratio.
Cautions: Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Storage: Store unmixed packet and water in a controlled environment below 90°F (32°C). Does not require refrigeration for shipping or storage prior to mixing. Prepared (mixed) extender must be stored refrigerated (below 45°F). Do not use product after 10 days of mixed storage.
