Experience

Dr. Donald Bramlage (aka Dr. B) practiced veterinary medicine at various levels for over 30 years. His professional experience includes owning a consulting business (Pet Connections), through which he worked with various groups in the pet industry including pet stores and kennels. Dr. B was also employed by Intervet/Schering-Plough (Merck Animal Health), presenting at conferences around the country on topics including vaccines and parasites as well as consulting for breeder and humane groups. He served as Revival’s Director of Veterinary Services from 2011 until his retirement in 2019.

Professional Interests

Dr. B spent his career studying the prevention and control of disease in animal populations. Known for his work managing Parvovirus in kennels and rescue groups, Dr. B helped many pet professionals establish disease control and parasite management in their facilities. He also has a passion for improving breeder productivity through heat cycle management and nutrition.

Personal Interests

Dr. B is married with one child and one grandchild. He enjoys showing dogs, learning about solar energy, and feeding fish at the Lake of the Ozarks – But only because he can’t catch them!

Mission

Dr. B is dedicated to teaching dog owners and professionals how to manage disease and parasites. Knowledge of proper preventative protocols helps keep animals healthy, and Dr. B values the impact he can have on the lives of both people and pets in this way. “After all,” he often comments, “We are raising America’s next best friend!”
