Canine Spectra® 6 is an injectable 6 way vaccine for healthy dogs and puppies six weeks of age and older. This canine vaccine protects against Canine Distemper, infectious Canine Hepatitis, Adenovirus Type 2 (CAV-2), Canine Coronavirus, Canine Parainfluenza and Parvovirus Type 2b. This dog vaccine contains Type 2B Parvovirus for rapid immunity and cross protection against all recognized field strains. Canine Spectra® 6, a 6 in 1 dog vaccine, features a high titer, low passage parvo fraction. High vaccine titers have been shown to overcome low-level maternal antibody interference in puppies.

This dog 6 way vaccine contains a modified live and killed virus. Meets or exceeds all USDA standards. Made in the USA.

Contains vaccine, diluent and disposable syringe.

Cautions: Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Warning: Do not vaccinate pregnant animals. Only vaccinate healthy animals. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the product label. Although rare, severe allergic reactions (anaphylactoid) may occur that require immediate veterinary care. Antidote: Epinephrine.

Preservatives: Gentamicin and thimerosal added as preservatives.

Storage: Keep refrigerated and store out of direct sunlight at 35° - 45° F. Do not freeze.

Disposal: Burn containers and unused contents.
Directions: The dosage is 1 mL injected subcutaneously. Open syringe by twisting or tapping the cap against a hard surface to break the heat weld. Prepare the vaccine by injecting the diluent into the vial containing the desiccated vaccine cake. Shake well. Withdraw entire contents into the syringe. Thoroughly prepare injection site with antiseptic. Lift the loose skin behind the neck or behind front leg and insert needle. Inject entire contents of syringe. Do not inject directly into blood vessel.

Important Note: Before injecting vaccine, pull back slightly on syringe plunger. If blood enters the syringe freely, choose another injection site. A recommended vaccination schedule should start at or about 6 weeks of age. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity. Puppies should be revaccinated every two to three weeks until at least 16 weeks of age. All dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive one dose of Spectra® 6 and a second dose two to three weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
