The ProID® ISO Microchip + Temp is the first dual-function identification system built for equine, livestock, and exotic animals and makes it easy to check the animal's temperature with a fast, non-invasive scan. By pairing routine temperature monitoring with ISO-compliant permanent ID, this dual-function microchip gives owners and veterinarians convenient access to essential information. Combining ISO-compliant permanent ID with non-invasive temperature sensing, this innovative microchip gives veterinarians and animal owners instant insight - making animal management, health monitoring, and competition compliance faster and easier.
Beginning December 1, 2025, under USEF GR 1101.10, all horses competing in USEF-licensed or endorsed competitions must be microchipped with a 15-digit ISO-compliant chip. This includes every breed, discipline, and competition level.
