The bundle includes a dual-ended toothbrush featuring soft, angled bristles in two sizes for cleaning all teeth, gum stimulators to support circulation, a tongue cleaner to reduce odor-causing bacteria, and an ergonomic flat center handle for enhanced grip and control.
Paired with the Paw Ready Enzymatic Dog Toothpaste, this toothpaste for dog is banana mint flavored and helps remove plaque and tartar buildup while freshening breath.
Two of the bundle options contain, the Paw Ready BiteBlock is included to gently and safely keep your dog's mouth open while brushing. Made from durable natural rubber, the BiteBlock protects your fingers and improves brushing visibility and control. The medium size is ideal for dogs weighing 15 - 85 lb (7 - 38.5 kg) and is well-suited for medium to large breeds. The small size is designed for dogs weighing 5 - 15 lb (2 - 7 kg) and is safe to use with puppies and their 28 baby teeth.
Regular use of the Paw Ready Oral Care Bundle supports healthy gums and helps prevent periodontal disease.
Banana Mint Toothpaste Ingredients: Water, Hydrated Silica, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Cellulose Gum, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Zinc Gluconate, Glucose Oxidase, Flavour
Instructions:
1. Insert the BiteBlock onto your middle finger, having the grooved edge facing upwards, with the BiteBlock's bite surface perpendicular to your palm. Position your index finger between the grooves to secure the BiteBlock in place.
2. Insert the BiteBlock into the side of your pet's mouth, allowing your pet to bite down on the BiteBlock. With the hand holding the BiteBlock, place your thumb on top of the snout, using your bottom two fingers to steady the jaw under the snout. This will allow for one handed control, freeing your other hand to brush your pet's teeth. Be gentle with your grip, as a pet's snout can be sensitive.
3. Using a toothbrush with your other hand, brush your pet's teeth on the opposite side of the BiteBlock, making sure to brush the inside and outside. First let the dog taste the toothpaste before starting. Apply a small drop of the toothpaste to toothbrush or finger brush. Start by brushing a few teeth then work up to brushing all teeth. Brush daily.
4. Upon completion, remove the BiteBlock from your pet's mouth, and repeat the previous steps on the other side of your pet's mouth, using the BiteBlock on your opposite hand.
Important Notes/Things to Consider: It is highly recommended to start to use the BiteBlock on your pet at an early age, as regular brushing of your pet's teeth will get them accustomed to a regular routine of oral care. Please note that your pet may need to be trained to accept the BiteBlock in their mouth. Progressively build up brushing sessions over time, until your pet is comfortable with the BiteBlock. Additional time may be required if BiteBlock is being introduced to older pets.
