Some state and local laws require that the rabies vaccine be administered only by a licensed veterinarian. Before ordering a rabies vaccine for your pet, learn your local laws and regulations regarding the rabies vaccine. DO NOT order a rabies vaccine unless you confirm it is legal for you to both buy and administer the rabies vaccine.
Warnings: Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives. Not tested on pregnant animals. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.
Storage: Store out of direct sunlight. Keep cool between 35°F and 44°F. Do not freeze.
Ferrets: Shake well. Aseptically administer 1 mL subcutaneously. Administer a single 1 mL dose at 3 months of age or older. A repeat dose should be administered 1 year later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
Cattle and Sheep: Shake well. Aseptically administer 2 mL intramuscularly. Administer a single 2 mL dose at 3 months of age or older to healthy cattle and sheep. A repeat dose should be administered 1 year later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
