Long-Lasting Penicillin G (BP 48) treats bacterial pneumonia and upper respiratory infections. Acts on susceptible bacteria within 15 minutes and keeps working for 48 hours. Two-dose regimen means less handling and less stress on animals. For subcutaneous injection. Active ingredients: Penicillin G Benzathine, Penicillin G Procaine. Total 300,000 units per ml. Indicated for use in cattle only. Label may be different than shown.

Contraindications:
A history of a previous hypersensitivity reaction to any penicillin is a contraindication.
Storage:
Refrigerate. Store between 2°-8°C (36°-46°F).
Do not freeze.

Directions for cattle: Warm to room temperature. Shake well before using. Give 2 ml per 150 lb body weight subcultaneously only.
Do not inject intramuscularly.
Repeat treatment in 48 hours.
Beef cattle should be withheld from slaughter for food use for 30 days following last treatment.
Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
Always follow the dosage provides by your veterinarian.
It is not advisable to administer bacteriostatic antibiotics (e.g. erythromycin, tetracycline) when treating with penicillin as these drugs slow the rate of bacterial growth therefore diminishing the effectiveness of the penicillin on the bacteria.
