Fully compliant with ISO 11784/11785 at 134.2 kHz, it includes lifetime registration in the ProID® Equine Protection Registry and meets the new USEF microchip requirements effective December 1, 2025 - ensuring horses of all breeds and disciplines are prepared for competition.
The Hero™ Universal Microchip + Temp Scanner complements the microchip by reading all ISO, 9-, 10-, and 15-digit chips and displaying both chip number and temperature for animals implanted with compatible temp-sensing microchips. Its Bluetooth® capability instantly sends chip numbers to a nearby device, eliminating manual data entry, while the bright blue-lit LCD screen shows the full chip number on a single line for improved readability. Compact and efficient, the scanner includes a protective carrying case, test chip fob, battery-saving auto shut-off, and FCC certification - making it a reliable tool for veterinarians, owners, and competition officials.
