Goblet 35mm

The Goblet 35 mm is used in the cryogenic storage of frozen semen for equine artificial insemination. Designed to securely hold up to 110 0.5 ml straws, this durable plastic container plays a key role in organizing and protecting semen samples during long-term storage. Once labeled semen straws are placed in the goblet, the goblet is attached to an aluminum cane and stored inside a liquid nitrogen tank, where temperatures are maintained at -196°C (-320°F) to preserve genetic integrity.

Using goblets improves organization within the storage tank by preventing straws from becoming loose or misplaced, making retrieval easier and more efficient when semen samples are needed. The goblet also serves as a protective layer, reducing the risk of damage during handling and minimizing exposure to temperature fluctuations.
