Fipronil goes to work immediately to start killing adult fleas and ticks and (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regular (IGR), attacks eggs and larvae breaking the flea and tick life cycle. Frontline® Plus kills deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, and lone star ticks and rapidly eliminates chewing lice.
