Refilling a Pet’s Prescription

Wondering where to fill pet prescriptions when it comes time for your pet prescription refill. In this Pet Pharm Tip, Revival’s Pharmacist, Lori, answers some of the most common questions about pet prescription refills.
Pet Prescription Refill

How Many Times Can You Use a Pet Prescription?

When your vet fills out a prescription for your dog or cat he or she will indicate how many refills are available. When the Revival Animal Health Pharmacy Team receives the prescription from your vet, we are only allowed to refill the prescription as many times that are indicated on the prescription. But don’t worry. If you’re out of refills, the Revival Pharmacy Team will contact your vet based on the vet contact information you provide. Once we hear back from your vet giving approval for more refills, we will get your pet’s prescription order sent off as soon as possible.

To find out how many refills you have left on a current prescription for your pet, look on the label. The number of refills left is on the bottom of the most recent label.

If you have questions about your dog or cat’s prescription or how to transfer your pet’s prescription to the Revival Pharmacy, call us at 800.786.4751.
