Video TranscriptWhen young puppies get diarrhea, is there something more you should be doing to help them? Hi, I'm Doctor Marty Greer, Director of Veterinary Services with Revival Animal Health and in this Vet Minute we are going to be talking about how to handle diarrhea in young puppies and kittens. There are many causes of diarrhea in kittens and puppies but one of the most important things you can do to shorten the course of diarrhea, is to include a probiotic such as Doc Roy's® GI Synbiotics in their feeding. It can significantly shorten the amount of time they have diarrhea, cutting down on dehydration and weight loss.
Marty Greer, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, has 35+ years' experience in veterinary medicine, with special interests in canine reproduction and pediatrics. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1981. She's served as Revival's Director of Veterinary Services since 2019.
