Tapeworm Prevention
Where you find fleas, you may find tapeworms. Praziquantel is a drug of choice that has been shown to be up to 95% effective in the treatment of adult tapeworm infections associated with both dog and fish species. It should be noted that
praziquantel does not kill the tapeworm eggs, so there is a potential for reinfection. To prevent reinfection, dogs should be retreated on a regular basis. Tapeworms are as different from other instestinal parasites as dogs are from cats. That is why tapeworms need a specific dewormer to remove them from your pet.
