Experience:Dr. B has spent 27 years practicing veterinary medicine at several levels. He also owned a consulting business (Pet Connections) that worked with various pet industries, including pet stores, kennels and more. Most recently, Dr. B worked with Intervet Schering Plough, frequently speaking on vaccines and parasites, as well as handling breeder and humane group consultation. Dr. B is current working with breeders and humane groups as Director of Veterinary Services for Revival Animal Health.
Professional Interests:Dr. B has spent his career studying the prevention and control of disease in populations of animals. During that time Dr. B became known for his work in managing Parvovirus in kennels and rescue groups. His work has improved breeder productivity and helped many pet professionals establish disease control and parasite management in their facilities.
Personal Interests:Dr. B is married with one child and one grandchild. He enjoys showing dogs and solar energy, as well as feeding fish at the Lake of the Ozarks (but only because he can’t catch them!)
Mission:Getting the right prevention the first time is the difference between a healthy or weak puppy and the spread of disease among animals. Dr. B is dedicated to teaching dog owners and professionals how to manage disease and parasites - and have a healthy dog every time.
A Helping Hand:Dr. B has been with Revival Animal Health since March of 2011 and has enhanced how Revival is able to help its customers. With Dr. B’s informative and educational articles many pet issues are addressed along with solutions. The articles are not the only place that Dr. B has been able to help with questions or concerns.
