I had seen some negative comments about these but went ahead and bought them anyway to try to save money on buying more real blades. Darn. I have a labradoodle with virtually poodle-like hair and the combs simply don't work. The hair gets caught up in them or is simply pushed out of the way by them. Perhaps they would work on dogs with less curl or with thicker hair or fur.
