I got as far as installing one of these units, but ended up pulling it back out as I could not get the drain valve to stop leaking. Also, the gray cover plate is not well built. It has only two small hooked tabs which secure it to the main body of the waterer and it pops off easily...not something that would stand up to strong active dogs.
