I have been fostering orphan kittens for the Portage APL for 10 years. I have fostered over 500 animals the majority being bottle feed kittens. I used to use KMR until they changed their formula without any notice and nothing indicating the change on the label. I ended up with 3 litters of kittens with severe diarrhea. I keep all litters separate until yhey are tested and recieve their first vaccination so I know it wasn't viral or bacterial. I then checked the ingredients on the 5# bag of KMR I had just purchased from Revival and found out that the ingredients had been completly changed. I spoke with the Vet at Revival and he told me about the new Beeder's Edge Formula. I immediately purchased it and recieved it in two days. I have been using it since and have not had any problems with diarrhea in my kittens, and they grow like weeds on this formula. I also know a wildlife rehabilitator who had the same problem with the KMR in her orphan raccoons, so I told her about the Breeder's Edge.

This new milk replacer is great! I work at a vet clinic and raise around 25+ kittens a year. This formula seems to digest easily without causing constipation, or bloating that I would sometimes get with KMR. Also this milk seems to have better flavor, I know it smells like vanilla! My kittens thrive on it, and it makes my job soooo much easier. Thank you for the great new product Revival!!!

I'm still using it after having problems with KMR and their reformulated formula several years ago. I recently purchased the 4.5 #w/16 oz free x 2, I went through over 25# last year with 119 fosters. Had 45 kittens at one time with 19 on a bottle. So far Breeders Edge Feline is the best formula I have found and our newer foster 'Grandma Greta' who fostered for the first time last year recently purchase some to have on hand. Her foster mom cat just gave birth to 6 kittens after a long labor, and she has enjoyed the inclusion of the Breeders Edge Feline to her diet. I am glad to see that Revival is now offering a 20# pail since it has such a long shelf life w/o refrigeration. I am going to talk to the rescue about my getting it this year. I recommend this formula to anyone who might be bottle feeding kittens and to the wildlife rehabilitators. Thanks

I've been fostering neonatal kittens for years. Upon the recommendation of another rescue I tried this formula and so far have been very happy with it. No diarrhea like we saw with KMR, it mixes easily, and the powder doesn't need to be refrigerated which makes those 3am feedings a little easier. It's also not as sticky as KMR which makes faces easier to clean.
