I find that one treatment every day following the instructions provides maintenance. If I miss a week or so due to travel, I will up the treatment to 2 times per day, once mid-day and another at my bedtime. Over a week's time, it noticeably removes plaque, and when applied regularly keeps my Sheltie's teeth beautifully white. I tell her that it beats taking her to the vet, putting her under with an IV and the recovery time which was several weeks the first and LAST time I had her teeth cleaned by a vet. This is not my Sheltie's favorite activity, but she will come willing, sit and endure. I use my finger, and that is adequate. When used as a maintenance program, her teeth stay beautifully white, and her breath is fresh.

My Pomeranian is 8 yrs old, she has sensitivity to anesthesia so professional dental cleanings are out of the question. She is very stubborn so although I brush her teeth, she just won't allow me to do a very good job. Our family mutt’s breath seemed to be getting to the point that you could barely stand his dog breath. We have a 10 year old beagle and over the past few years we have struggled with various products with minimal success. A neighbor recommended Petzlife oral spray and pointed us to Revival. I have been spraying his teeth regularly for a couple months and the stuff is working, the plaque is disappearing and his breath is finally clean and absent the foul odor. I'm almost out of the spray and thought I would try Petzlife's oral gel. Again our neighbor switched and the results where even better. VitaHound really does enjoy getting his teeth cleaned with this stuff.

Do NOT get the Salmon flavor. My cat Jack got deathly ill and vomitted for 5 days straight. Had he been a kitten we would have lost him with no doubt. Some cats are allergic to "fish" products and it can shout down the kidneys and cause sudden death.

I do feel the product does work to some degree. I have given the Pepperment to one of my cats who has bad jaw teeth and would drool. After a few weeks of administering the drooling has subsided.

My rescue poodle had really bad tarter at the age of only 7 month.

I bought and used the paste to brush her teeth 5 times per week

and 95% of the tarter went away.
