Love the product! The last litter or bitch had to have a C-section because she didn't contract right. This time I gave her the Oral Cal right at the beginning of her labor and set the timer every 20 minutes, repeated dosage until last pup was born. She had 5 puppies in 1.5hr. Greatly recommend, never gonna have a delivery without it again.
A lifesaver during whelping!

When whelping a large litter of puppies, sometimes the mother can get weak and tired and the contractions may not always be strong enough. I have assisted in whelping several litters and we always keep 2-3 tubes on hand for large deliveries. The moms like the taste and it is much safer for mom and puppies than oxytocin.
Another wonderful product by Breeders Edge!

Our dog developed serious IBD and was intensive care for over a week. She is a fighter and survived. When we brought her home her level of calcium in her body was still very low. I asked our Vet if we could try Oral Cal Plus and she said OK. We were amazed two weeks later that her Calcium level had improved very much. Thank you so much!
Best thing ever!

If your a breeder you need to keep this on hand. I use it during every whelping. It can save your dogs life or prevent a emergency trip to the Er due to eclampsia. Great price, best quality

Oral Cal has been so easy to use. My Poms, whether they are in labor or after whelping, are very happy to lick the syringe tip to be sure to get every bit of their dose. I have used it to calm restless new mothers to settle them down and nurse the new litter. Two years ago, I had a pup that began to have seizures after her 1st vaccination. The seizures would make her run, growl, and attack litter mates. Research indicated she had a brain malfunction which involved a need for calcium. Any time she would start to seizure, I gave her a small amount of this and it stopped the seizure. The syringe is easy to administer, even in the middle of a seizure.
