Virbac C.E.T. Chews (17445-Z)
CET chews medium
I usually get the large ones from my Golden and though the medium would be better because he is old and is hard to chew, however, I'm going back to the large ones because he eat these ones right away and it defeat the purpose. I love this product anyway; I used it with me previous Golden and now with the one I adopted. It's great!
Great for dogs prone to having bad teeth. Have helped a ton with my greyhound's dental hygiene.
We have 2 German Shepherds and they absolutely love these Chews. The vet loves that the dogs teeth are so clean too !
Used CET For Years
We have used CET chews for years, and the dogs never seem to tire of them. They're a good treat in the summer when it's too hot for the dogs to be outside much. My vet, too, always comments on their clean teeth. My one complaint is that in the last year the Large package seems to contain way too many small chews. These are problematic as the dogs can swallow a section of the small chew whole which can lodge in their throat causing them to gag, and on several occasions I have had to pull the section from their throat. Now I discard these small chews from each package I open.
What is there to say?
My dog gets one of these things each night at bedtime. He loves them, they don't seem to make him sick, his vet says he has great teeth. But then, the vet said that before I ever started giving my dog these chews. Also, the vet still says he needs a teeth cleaning. Even though he's only 36 pounds (my dog, not the vet) , I give him the X-Large size for dogs 51+ pounds. They're expensive, but Revival sells them for less than I'm able to find them elsewhere. Oh, and his breath still stinks (my dog, not the vet). :-)
