I have been using this product for years, for my Siberian HUskies whose exercise area includes a wooded area. I never see a single tick on them, ever. Unlike my Aussie, on whom I use only the topical products (because he happens to be allergic to the main active ingredient in Preventic). I also put a Preventic collar on my Standard Poodles just on days when we are taking them on walks or hikes. Truly do work wonderfully well. If you have ticks where you live, you need this product!

The only collar around that actually kills ticks! The typical 'flea and tick collar' may be great for killing fleas but is basically worthless for killing ticks. The occasional tick I have found on my dogs, recently, has been dead and dehydrated. They usually fall off dead before you can find them. I would recommend this product to anyone with tick problems on their dogs. You will also be amazed at how effective it is.

This is the ONLY collar that really works on ticks. My dogs haven't had a tick since I put the collars on.

I live on 40 acres of wooded land and have seven dogs. I have tried everything on the market for fleas and ticks. Preventic collars are the best I have ever used. My dogs will run the woods and come back free of everything, not even a seed tick. If a tick should make it's way on one of the dogs, within minutes it will drop off. I know when it's time to put new collars on because the dogs will start to scratch and become uncomfortable. When they see their new collars they all wait in line.
