Purchased this device this to place inside a homemade shelter for a stray cat. The product arrived quickly. As stated on the packaging it did come with a soft cover with elastic straps to fit over the unit. This product is not the padded heated bed but rather more a rigid hard plastic device but it was great for my needs. Once the stray cat figured out that the cat house he once was very reluctant to use now got warm when he laid in it he was sold on this too! Even on the coldest north east days when I reach into the insulated cat house the pad is slightly warm, when he comes out & I touch the device its toasty..I would recommend this product, hands down its perfect for an easy to clean product that will keep your furry friend warm!

My dogs love these heat pads. I use them in my garage during the long North Dakota winters. It gets really cold here and the Lectro heat pads keeps them nice and toasty.
