Rabies in the country setting
In Virginia our dogs have to be innoculated by a vet, but our cats can be given their shots by their owners. I have a farm that has lots of cats. I have live trapped them, had them all spade or neutered, and had them tested for Feline Leukemia. My "herd" is negative. So since rabies is very common in our area the only other precaution is rabies vaccines. I live trap each true feral every 3 years and give them their vacination against rabies. The rest of the cats that will allow human contact are given theirs at the same time every three years and a record is kept on the whole crew. The animals are safer that way.
Rabvac 3 is a trusted product that I have used for years. Never had any problem with dogs having a reaction or tenderness at shot site.
Arrived quickly and is as advertised.
I appreciate buying the RabVac 3 vaccine. The instructions was thorough, where it made for an easy injection.
Problem, why wasn't the Rabies tag included with the vaccine? Now I have to place a second order, and now wait for that to arrive. I would gladly paid extra at the beginning, not later.
Saves an expensive trip to the vet
My cats are indoor/outdoor and do not love going to the vet! Giving them their shots at home really saves me a lot of time and money. Plus I do not have to stress them out. Shots are so easy to give. I recommend to everyone!
