Doc Roy's SNOOP NO POOP PLUS (60401-698)
Snoop No Poop Plus
Does NOT seem to stop problem. Don't even slow down this problem of eating stool.
These really seem to work quickly!
I am pleased with this product. I have tried others with no change. This product did seem to work quickly, and seemed to be a definite deterrent. Out of our 6 furkids only one was enjoying his "treats" in the yard, but after just a couple days of giving doses to all of them he didn't seem to be interested in indulging. I did run out and will be ordering more because he's slowly testing the "treats". Even though they're all finicky eaters, and one has food allergies, they did not hesitate eating their food with a dose crushed up in the food.
Waste of time & money
I thought that after going thru almost 2 bottles that there would be some improvement....nothing! I'm going to try pineapple chunks. I've heard from others that it works.
Don't waste your money on this.
I bought an 8 wk old German Shepard puppy in June 2013. Immediately she started eating her own stool. I tried - "For-Bid" - meat tenderizer - pineapple & all the other wives tales to try to stop her from eating her stool. Nothing worked. One day I called Revival Animal Health and spoke to Lisa - she recommended Doc Roy's SNOOP NO POOP - after about a week - Gretchen stopped eating her stool. I think the reason is because SNOOP NO POOP. Makes the stool have a terrible odor - today Gretchen is 5 1/2 months old & no longer eats her poop! Hooray for Doc Roy's products!! Thanks!
works...to a degree
I have been using this product for over a year, and on several of my dogs. I prefer it to other products because of it's seemingly simple and natural ingredients, even though the ingredients are not promoted as natural. It didn't appear to work for my small, senior Boston Terrier rescue who was rather obsessive/compulsive. I think his personality won out over Doc Roy's. For my 8 yr old Brussels Griffon, a sweet boy and also a rescue, the tablets are effective...to a degree. My boy weighs 18 lbs, and the dosage should be 1/2 tab daily, but I have to give him 1 entire tablet daily to stop the bad habit. Still, he picks up the poop and carries it to a nice spot for munching, but just leaves it there without eating--I assume it is because of the taste. He doesn't eat stool as long as I give him one tablet every day, but it doesn't stop his DESIRE to eat it. I guess it is something like alcoholism, or cigarette smoking in that he still wants to eat it. But the bad taste prevents him from doing so. I will continue to purchase the product, because occasionally picking up is not as bad as eating!!
