Midwest Puppy Playpen (12120-Z)
This is a nice product, but 9 times out of 10 the floor pans come cracked or chipped. They snap easily as well. Very brittle. If you don't take the product out of the box right away, and several months pass, they won't replace it. Great cage, rusts easily. floor grid will also have the rubber wear off over time. Expect it to age quickly. Smart poodles can maneuver out of the top. Keeps puppies in.
The box the playpen was delivered in looked like it had been tossed around and had holes on it. Of course the playpen had dents throughout on each four sides that it did not function 100%. I contacted customer service and asked if I can get some sort of discount and only received $25 returned to my card. Don't get me wrong, customer service is wonderful but the amount returned for the damage is not worth it
I have 2 of these pens. I use them for full litters of 6 week old or older puppies. They are a good size (I have the large size). I especially like that the puppies can not get into their stool - but it falls into a tray beneath the cage and I can see it - important for health. I did not give a 5 star because the trays have to be replaced relatively often due to cracking etc. I would recommend this pen for small to medium pups. It is strong and does a good job.

We LOVE it! We got it about the time our puppies were ready to leave, on the recommendation of another breeder friend. We used it as a whelping area, after that, because it's very hard for me to get down on the floor anymore. It's nice to be able to raise the "floor" part up for the birth and then lower it down for mom and puppies. It goes from birth to ready to leave...all in one area!
Excellent design. Great for multiple uses. Top access and side door really come in handy.
