There's nothing wrong with the collar, but it hasn't improved our cat's behavior at all. We have a male cat who is neutered but continues to fight with our other cats and spray all over the house. I'm disappointed this didn't work and don't really know what else to do.

I purchased the 3 pk for the value. Put one on my white male cat. He had it on for 5 days. I noticed a bald patch on his neck right behind the collar. Thought it was caused from him trying to fet the collar off. Because the collar is purple I didn't realize that he was completely raw to the skin underneath the complete circle of the collar. It was so bad. I immediately removed the collar and gently washed the raw neck down. Talk about feeling terrible! I put an antibiotic for pets on him. Its been a week and he is scabbed up now and healing. Well the collar did indeed make him calm but with a terrible price. I'm hoping this helps all of you out there. Im going to try the plug ins now and hope Revival will refund me for the collars.

I tried my first collar on my male Persian stud who sprayed non-stop. Nothing would slow this down. Right after putting on the collar the spraying has IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY. I am so grateful for this product since I am a breeder and need my males to be breedable. Now I can almost live with him.
Skin reaction to collar

We have an otherwise adorable male cat who, apparently, likes to pee on the floor (rug, bed, etc.) when stressed. He savaged a mattress beyond retrieval, and has been hitting the floor in our closet pretty heavy. We tried EVERYTHING. And then, in desperation, tried this collar. It appears to work. The freelance peeing has stopped. Unfortunately, he also developed a skin reaction to the purple plastic, and his chin completely scabbed up. I removed the collar, and replaced it with a cloth collar which I sprayed with the same compound (pheromone + lavender/chamomile) thinking the milder formula might be better. Sure enough, the cloth collar plus spray works just fine, and the peeing has stopped. The spray is Thunder Spray - sorry Sentry, but I cannot tell a lie, their product is better. Giving 2 stars, because the idea is good, but holding back the additional 3 because your product harmed my cat. Maybe revisit your compound, and/or delivery system, do some more testing. Meanwhile, we're happy with the small fabric collar and the spray.
