This is my second Magnador Pet Door. The first Magnador was installed almost 15 years ago and is still in good shape. It's being replaced because it's white and through the years the dirt from constant use by my three dogs and three cats has left it stained. It's very reasonably priced considering the long time I've had it.

My only "complaint" is the large door only comes in white. I would've preferred a dark color.

With Magnador Two-Way Pet Door .I don't have to buy replacement flaps all the time .They open great stay close really well .And my Boxers can not tear the flap of which that is great .I was buying replacement flaps on the other pet safe doors at last once a month for 30.00 each you not only save money on engery but on replacement flaps as well with this door. Don't buy no other door than the Magnador

  • Cost

  • Could use thicker plastic
I used this type dog door in my kennel for years. Not a bad low cost door. They last as long or longer sometimes that the other more expensive doors I've purchase over the years. I have a 25# dog that is in and out a lot who is very hard on the door. It lasts over a year or more.

This is the best door I have ever purchased. In the last my dog's have gone through five different doors. It's is the only one to survive.

Great, Sturdy Dog Doors

I bought several of these doors, the ones with the extra strong magnets, for our local animal shelter. The dogs are in and out constantly and were breaking the "normal" doors all the time. These are so much stronger. The dogs are not able to chew the magnets out of the doors, and they stay closed so much longer: helping to maintain a good temperature in the kennel. These are the doors we will use from now on.
