Lime Sulfur Dip (60650-V)
Amazing skin healer
"My GSDs have suffered with itchy skin on their feet, legs, underarms for years. They lick constantly and scratch. I have been using this for two years and love it.
I mix a couple of ounces in warm water and saturate their affected areas. Use outside or on a porch and allow to drive before letting them in the house or licking it off. It is sulfer based and rotten eggs come to mind. BUT it works nearly instantly. My dogs heal, stop licking and itching and I will put up with the initial odor for the immediate results. If they have chronic skin irritations, use it the minute you see them digging at themselves and their hair beginning to thin out. My Vet approves this procedure and has seen the results."
Great for Demodex
My dog had been through the mitaban dips & almost everything else. I saw this on Amazon & thought I'd try it. The phone support is incredible. They walked me through the process. First of all, I bathe her with a medicated shampoo. Then I mix it in a squeeze bottle. I mix 1/2 oz. to 8 oz. of water. I squirt it on her in the yard & then we're off for a walk. By the time we're back, she's dried out & there is no smell. We've been doing this every 5 days for the last 5 weeks. I know it sounds like a lot, but when you do it like they said I could (smaller amount/ squirt bottle) it lasts a long time. The results have been beyond belief. She looks better than she has in a long time - she's growing her hair back. THANKS Revival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My poor Lopso was finally diagnosed correctly after many trips to the vet. He only prescribed Goodwinol and I was chasing the mites every different direction. I read everything I could possibly read and Lime Sulfur seemed like the best solution to the problem. It has been four months since the diagnoses and a little over a month using the product. I was giving him a bath in BPO-3 Shampoo every day and dip every day. The problem seems to have almost completely gone away now and have finally cut back to once per week. Also, this an immune problem and you will need to give the dog a supplement.
Our Golden had a patch of mange and we used this dip for four consecutive weekends, and she is, from what we can tell, healed. Her hair is growing back and she feels SO MUCH better -- nowhere near as much scratching. The dip does have a salty funky smell, but it works, so it's worth the smell. We used a tarp on the pool deck to apply it, because it will stain a mustardy yellow color.
