Foster Care Feline Milk Replacer
Excellent product. I mixed it into the wet food of the pregnant cat,
Foster Care Milk Replacer
Tried this product and kittens LOVED IT, no diarrhea, mixed well in my blender, no clumps. HIGHLY recommend it.
I foster kittens, some under 2 weeks. Breeders edge is wonderful. The powder doesn't have to be refrigerated, mixes well, no lumps, has been well tolerated by the babies and they grow like weeds. I also mix it with their wet cat food until they are 6 or 7 weeks.
I am very happy with this formula. I handle dozens of orphaned kittens annually, and I was having trouble with another high-end brand; my kittens were consistently getting clostridium overgrowths which caused diarrhea and loss of appetite. Since switching to Breeder's Edge, I haven't had a single case of clostridium overgrowth. I also have found that we have consistent weight gains even with a smaller quantity of formula fed.
Love this milk replacer, no diarrhea like the reformulated KMR causes, mixes smoothly not clumpy like the reformulated KMR
I have been fostering orphan kittens for the Portage APL for 10 years. I have fostered over 500 animals the majority being bottle feed kittens. I used to use KMR until they changed their formula without any notice and nothing indicating the change on the label. I ended up with 3 litters of kittens with severe diarrhea. I keep all litters separate until yhey are tested and recieve their first vaccination so I know it wasn't viral or bacterial. I then checked the ingredients on the 5# bag of KMR I had just purchased from Revival and found out that the ingredients had been completly changed. I spoke with the Vet at Revival and he told me about the new Beeder's Edge Formula. I immediately purchased it and recieved it in two days. I have been using it since and have not had any problems with diarrhea in my kittens, and they grow like weeds on this formula. I also know a wildlife rehabilitator who had the same problem with the KMR in her orphan raccoons, so I told her about the Breeder's Edge.
