This kennel has been great for us to send puppies off to their new homes. I like the door hatch of top, with my cavaliers being so small it is easier to lift them out, instead of having to pull them out. Plus they are the size that they can grow into, so the new owner is having to buy one crate instead another.
Great for reluctant cats

I do cat rescue and we use these top loaders all the time. We are handling cats that have never been in a carrier and often don't know us but it is easy to put a cat in from the top. Well made, lasts and lasts.

We use these in our Rescue. They are wonderful for our bottle babies. The fosters are able to have easier access with the top door. It is roomy enough for the whole litter. I have personally used mine when I pick up injured or stray cats. It is sturdy and easier to put them. We all love these carriers and wish we could afford to purchase more and use nothing but these. They are big enough to put a small tray of litter and have less accidents in them.

I recently adopted a 22 pound cat. The shelter loaned me an old crate large enough to port him. Although he's now on an eating plan, Levi will still be a large cat at ideal weight. He loves to look through the holes of any crate to watch his surroundings. This crate is best because of the added visibility. Perhaps more importantly, the top door can help when loading. With the old crate, trying to put Levi in forward was not successful so I had to turn him around and jockey him in backwards. The top load kennel is a tremendous help for all handlers and for any animal that is skittish or confused by a crate.
