Raspberry Leaf Extract

Raspberry leaf has been used for years as an herbal remedy to ease labor pain. Native Americans used a raspberry tea for this purpose, and today we use the leaf extract added to water. Though it does not reduce labor, when it's used 2 weeks before and just after, it will ease the spasms associated with labor. It also helps prevent exhaustion during labor, especially after 6 or 8 deliveries in a row. Raspberry leaf extract is especially helpful in first- and second-time moms who are not experienced with giving birth and may benefit from an easier labor.

Since the labor pain is reduced, you also have stronger, happier mothers that are able to care for their babies better. And that's a goal every pet owner has - a strong, healthy animal!
