Vet-Kem^® Ovitrol^® X-Tend^™ Flea & Tick Spray quickly kills fleas and ticks and repels mosquitoes on your pets. Combining Etofexprox with the long-lasting flea egg-killing power of (S)-Methoprene provides quick relief from biting fleas and continuous killing of flea eggs laid on the animal, breaking the flea life cycle. The elimination of both adult fleas and flea eggs is important because adult fleas live on your pet, causing discomfort and skin irritation, while the vast number of eggs that they lay fall off and develop in your house.

Directions:

• Spray: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
• Shake Well Before Use.
  • A light even coverage of the hair coat will provide effective flea control. Do not allow spray from application or damp pet to come into contact with painted or finished surfaces, including wood floors/furniture, leather/vinyl materials, or other surfaces of concern.
    • For best results, ruffle the coat while spraying against the natural lay of the hair. Cover pet's eyes with hand. With a firm, fast stroke, spray head, ears, and chest. If you see a tick, spray it directly.
    • With cloth, rub on face around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray the neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing with legs and tail last. Avoid spraying rectum and genitals.
    • For all pets, spray until damp, not saturated. Do not allow pets to become chilled.
    • Repeat every month for continuous flea and tick infestation prevention.
• Note that the recommended dose is about 4 squeezes of the trigger spray per pound of body weight. Short-haired pets will need less and long-haired pets will need more spray. In all cases, apply spray until the coat is damp, not saturated.
• For Mosquitoes: A light, even coverage of the hair coat (as applied for flea control) will also provide effective repellency of mosquitoes.

Monthly premise treatments are required for optimal control and prevention of fleas and ticks. This product kills adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and repels mosquitoes. Flea eggs and larvae spraying will not grow into adults. The highly effective combination of Etofenprox and (S)-Methoprene provides quick relief from biting fleas and continuous killing of flea eggs laid on the animal, breaking the flea life cycle. Vet-Kem^® Ovitrol^® X-Tend^™ Flea & Tick Spray Ingredients: Etofenprox and (S)-Methoprene

What do the ingredients do:

• Etofenprox kills adult fleas and ticks.
• (S)-Methoprene kills flea eggs and larvae.

Storage: Do not store near heat or open flame. Store away from children and animals. Do not reuse or refill this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

Cautions: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Repeated exposure to Etofenprox can cause skin irritation. Do not use on puppies less than 10 weeks of age and kittens less than 12 weeks of age. For external use only. Drooling may be observed for a short period of time immediately following product application. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or animals with medication. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Cats: in some cases, excessive salivation and ear and paw flicking may occur; however, these effects are temporary and not harmful.
