Cats love it

I bought this model after dropping and breaking one of the ceramic models after having it only a few weeks. The pump is not noisy if the water is kept at a high level. I refill it every night and clean it thoroughly once a week. The inter-workings are plastic, as has been noted by another reviewer, but that is hardly an issue. The only tricky part is getting the cord wound around properly to fit through the gap. My two cats have been enjoying the new fountain for about a year, as well as have some foster kittens who pass through, who typically like to play in it.
