For vaccines requiring reconstitution, remove label from both vials and affix both labels to the animal’s medical chart. 1.) Grasp the lower right-hand corner of the tab at the arrow marked "Peel Here" between your thumb and forefinger. 2.) Pull steadily at a slight upward angle until the top portion of the label is separated from the vial. 3.) Place the label on the animal's medical chart. Press down on the label to ensure adhesion.

It's nice that I can buy this and use it for mutiple dogs. Down side is you document the shot record on paper instead of having a tag to go on a dog collar.

Saves an expensive trip to the vet

My cats are indoor/outdoor and do not love going to the vet! Giving them their shots at home really saves me a lot of time and money. Plus I do not have to stress them out. Shots are so easy to give. I recommend to everyone!

Rabies in the country setting
By: Rolling Hills Farm
From: Gloucester, VA
In Virginia our dogs have to be innoculated by a vet, but our cats can be given their shots by their owners. I have a farm that has lots of cats. I have live trapped them, had them all spade or neutered, and had them tested for Feline Leukemia. My "herd" is negative. So since rabies is very common in our area the only other precaution is rabies vaccines. I live trap each true feral every 3 years and give them their vacination against rabies. The rest of the cats that will allow human contact are given theirs at the same time every three years and a record is kept on the whole crew. The animals are safer that way.
