Overall Customer Rating of 5 Reviews:

Profender is a great product. My 2 cats had horrible diarrhea that was getting everywhere. This killed the worms and stopped the diarrhea completely overnight. I was afraid to use it because my cats were really sick but they have had no reaction so far. My husband and I felt like they were going to die due to the worms. I will use it again.

Works great and is very simple to use. I have five cats and use Profender many times and it has always done the job.

bad reaction, lge balls of poo

Cat did not have worms, vet wormed him as reg visit. Never again. Came home to 2 lge hard balls of poop in one room, and a 3rd attached to his anus. Poor thing must have had some major discomfort 24 hr after application and I went to work. I will never allow this again. Drontal tab so much safer.

Didn't work for my indoor cat.

Vet prescribed this for 17 pound cat (large cat dose). A few months later, cat still has tape worm segments in stool (even after adding a second does a ~month after the first). Cat is on flea meds, indoor, and without any noticeable flea presence in the home. Not impressed with this topical treatment. Maybe I didn't re-dose quickly enough. Going to try the significantly cheaper pill medications that do not require a cumbersome prescription. This is his first visible worm infestation.

Very simple to use and worked great on three of our outdoor cats. I recommend this product.
