it works but...

This product works well in general but if you have more than 1 or 2 dogs and they have an all out barking fit, ie.. strangers man or beast, its useless. But, for normal nuisance barking it does fine. I think the product is a bit overpriced though.

I live in a neighborhood with multiple dogs...as in all my neighbors have at least 2 dogs each! I decided when my daughter was born to purchase an outdoor bark deterrent to see if that would eliminate some of the barking and I have SO happy with this product. The neighborhood dogs have stopped barking during the day and all hours of the night...So peaceful! I would recommend this to anyone with annoying 4-legged neighbors!

Silent Bark Deterrent - Not heard from in the rain.

We have tried two of these Bark Deterrent boxes. The first was replaced by Revival after it stopped working following a rain storm the first week we had it. The second one ceases to work each time the weather turns damp. A rain of half an inch or more stops all action until it has time to dry out and then the lights flash again. The device seemed to slightly work on my neighbors constantly barking dogs for about three days. It now has no effect on them, even when held in their face through the fence. Does it work? No.
