Description
By closely matching the nutritional value of a mother's milk, Just Born for Puppies has all the nutrients puppies need for optimal growth. Includes colostrum, which gives protection against numerous diseases. Contains the necessary proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and amino acids for a healthy start. Also good for bitches in need of extra nutrients because of the stress of pregnancy or nursing. Available in powder formula or a ready-to-use liquid.

Liquid: Water, corn oil, nonfat dry milk, sodium caseinate, corn syrup solids, soy protein isolate, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, carregeenan, maltodextrin, dipotassium phosphate, colostrum milk powder, sodium ascorbate, potassium bicarbonate, natural and artificial flavors, choline chloride, zinc oxide, dl alpha tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), magnesium sulfate, ferrous sulfate, mono-diglycerides, calcium pantothenate, l-arginine, dl-methionine, niacinamide, manganese sulfate, wheat starch, thiamine hydrochloride, cupric sulfate, vitamin A palmitate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, menadione, folic acid, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), potassium iodide, sodium selenite, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), BHT and propyl gallate (preservatives). DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE:
Weigh the puppy. Prepare enough Just Born, with the enclosed measuring scoop, for use within a 24 hour period.Puppies should be fed at least 1/2 ounce of liquid Just Born for every 2 ounces of body weight, daily. Puppies should be allowed to consume as much formula as they want. The table at right gives minimum feeding amounts for a 24 hour period. For puppies 1-10 days old, mix 1 scoop powder into 2 scoops water. For puppies older than 10 days, mix 2 scoops powder into 3 scoops water.Use tap or bottled water. Stir until smooth. Pour liquid into an appropriate sized, clean Just Born nursing bottle. Heat liquid by placing bottle in a pan of tepid water. Test temperature on your wrist. It should feel slightly warm. Do not microwave. Store Just Born powder in the refrigerator. Refrigerate unused reconstituted liquid for up to 24 hours. After feeding, hold the puppy's head on your shoulder and rub his back gently until he burps. Make water available after puppies are 2 weeks old. Farnam puppy water bottles are recommended.

DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE:

To open, unfold the corner and cut along the dotted line. Pour liquid into an appropriate sized, clean Just Born nursing bottle. Reclose carton and refrigerate. Heat liquid by placing nursing bottle in a pan of tepid water. Test temperature on your wrist. It should feel slightly warm. Do not microwave. After feeding, hold the puppy's head on your shoulder and rub his back gently until he burps. Make water readily available after puppies are 2 weeks of age. Farnam water bottles are recommended.
