Whelping Pad

  • Drymate Whelping Box Liner is soft and absorbent
  • Contains liquids without leaking through
  • Gives your puppies an insulated and sure-footed surface
  • Machine wash warm separately, gentle cycle and line dry only
The absorbent Drymate Whelping Box Liner provides the perfect whelping area for your pets. The soft, non-woven fabric absorbs and contains liquids without leaking through, giving your puppies an insulated and sure-footed surface. The charcoal fabric is more absorbent to contain liquids and prevent soak-through. It's also stronger to withstand wear and tear and multiple washings. Easy to cut to size; the edges will not unravel or entangle puppies. Machine washable and dryable.

Whelping Pad

This pad is great for keeping moisture away from the puppies during whelping but it is not durable for dogs of any size such as Miniature Schnauzers. Mine have scratched holes in it. It also gets lots of fuzz from the dogs scratching while nesting. I would not purchase again

Very Good product

I have bought 4 of these for different areas. They are great in the whelping box and work great in mom's area when she has to go when I'm not home. They wash up great and as long as you follow washing instructions about line drying. I still have my original one that I bought 3 years ago. Great item.

Sorry, but I thought this product was a waste of money, it was a soggy mess and it caused more work for me than just plain newspapers.

Love these Pads!

I had gotten two of these used from another breeder and we liked them so much we ordered more! They stay in place nicely, are easy to clean and give the puppies traction. They will hold up well as long as you follow the washing instructions and don't put them in the dryer.

Have used for many years!

I was very surprised when I read these negative reviews as I have 2 that I bought several years ago and I love them. I've not had the problems that some people have had. I've used these over and over...when I have litters a few times a year and mine are still in great shape. The backing on mine is still intact and I even put them in the dryer! I guess maybe it's like with most things today....you find something you love and then they start to cheapen it by finding ways to make it for less, thus the quality goes down. I'm very disappointed because I was planning on buying some more, but now I don't know if I'm going to. The only thing that I've noticed with them is that they pill pretty badly after being washed so many times, but I've found a way to make them look pretty good again. I used to use one of those big battery operated pill-removers, which worked but took a long time. The other day I decided to try a slicker brush....took a lot of muscle power but it worked great! One thing I've learned is not to wash it with light colored bedding that can come off on them such as blankets that pill, because all that ends up on the dark mat, so now I only wash it with dark dog bedding that doesn't pill....works so much better and makes a lot less work! Hope this helps someone!
