Doc Roy's^® FORTI CAL^™ usage:

Doc Roy's^® FORTI CAL^™ helps get your animals off to a great, healthy start. Increases the survival rate of newborns, provides extra energy, and stimulates their appetites, which helps them be healthy and gain weight. It can also be used for weak or sickly animals and performance animals and pets that just need some extra energy. Liquid can be fed "as is" to animals unable to eat solid food. Available in a tasty gel, liquid, flavored granules, or soft chew energy treats for easy dosing, so select the dosage form that your pet prefers.

Dosages:

• Gel: FORTI CAL gel is extremely tasty and is readily accepted. To acquaint your pet with the flavor, place a small amount of gel on nose or the mouth.
  • To supplement your dog or cat's caloric or nutritional intake: 1½ tsp per 10 lbs. body weight daily.
  • When pet is not eating their full ration, give 3 tsp (1 Tbsp) per 10 lbs. body weight daily.
• Liquid: FORTI CAL liquid can be fed "as is" to animals unable to eat solid food. When diluted with water, it can be used to combat dehydration.
  • Puppies: Give 1½ tsp per 10 lbs. twice daily.
  • Dogs: Give 2 tsp (1 oz) per 25 lbs. 2-3 times daily.
  • Kittens: Give ½ tsp twice daily.
  • Adult Cats: Give 1 tsp twice daily.
  • Foal: Give 2 Tbsp daily.
  • Horses: Give 4 oz. twice daily.
  • Piglets: Give 1 tsp per 5 lbs. daily.
  • Swine: Give 1 oz. three times daily.
  • Goats: Give 1 oz. three times daily.
  • Sheep: Give 1 oz. three times daily.
• Granules: FORTI CAL granules can be administered over your dog or cat's food daily or be mixed with their food to ensure complete consumption.
  • For diet supplementation: Give 1½ scoops per 10 lbs. daily
  • For animals not eating full food ration: Give 3 scoops per 10 lbs. daily.
• Soft Chew Energy Treats: FORTI CAL soft chew energy treats can be administered directly to your dog or cat as a treat or crumbled over your pet's food.
  • For diet supplementation: Give 1½ treats per 10 lbs. body weight daily.
  • For animals not eating full food ration: Give 3 treats per 10 lbs. daily.

May be used with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs), such as Rimadyl or Deramaxx.

What do the ingredients do:

• Vitamin A is essential for eye and skin health, immune system function, and bone health. It also plays an important role in reproductive health.
