Chlorhexidine Solution is an antimicrobial disinfectant providing antiseptic activity against a wide range of micro-organisms that commonly infect the skin, such as bacteria, fungi, ringworm & yeast. Non-toxic, non-irritating formula with 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. For use with dogs and horses for superficial cuts, abrasions, insect stings and more.

2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate

Dilute 2 Tbsp solution per 1 gallon of water.

Excellent product for tissue wounds and ring worm

I bought this product because my vet sells it to me when my new moms get mastitis. He sells me 5 ounces for $15 and Revival sells a gallon for $12. I also found it has other uses many. It's also a quick remedy for ring worm goes away within 5 days with this stuff spray on or bathe your dog. Great!!

This product has many uses and when one of my litters of pups had gotten a fungus, I had used this and it worked GREAT! I also use this to keep the dogs teeth clean and when I do a load of doggie laundry, I use a little bit in the wash and it seems to get all the stink out and cleans them really well!!!

I have miniature schnauzers, which are notoriously prone to tooth and gum problems. When I saw the article on Revival about using chlorhexidine in the drinking water to kill mouth bacteria (which would then ultimately prevent tartar from forming), I thought it was worth a try. I admit to being one of the world's biggest skeptics, but I must say that I started seeing an improvement after only one week, as the teeth at the front of the mouth started losing their yellowish tint and became sparkling white. As the days have gone by, those dogs with tartar have been improving to varying amounts. Those who are more prone to chewing have improved the most, while I have been helping some others along with my tooth scaler or popping the tartar off with tweezers or hemostats. I have a six-year-old whose mouth looks like that of a puppy! This stuff WORKS!!!!

Bought this product for use in my dogs' water as part of prevention in dental care to help keep the bacteria build up that causes plaque to a minimum. Have to say I'm pretty happy with the results. The small amount used in a gallon of water is going to make this product last a while and well worth the price. The water bowl doesn't have that slimy feel to it anymore either. It is also doing what I bought it for and keeping the bacteria reduced so new plaque isn't forming and along with brushing my dogs' teeth they are cleaner. That means less dental work at the vet and my dogs not having to go under anesthesia. Most of all its significant savings on vet care associated with health issues from dogs with bad teeth. Very happy with the results, price of product, as well as the other costs I'm saving on too.
