Bronchicine^® CAe is recommended for the vaccination of healthy dogs against diseases caused by canine bordetella bronchiseptica (kennel cough). This is a killed version of the virus. Recommended for use in healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older.

Dosage:
- Vaccinate healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older.
- Shake well. Aseptically administer 1mL subcutaneously.
- Healthy dogs should receive 2 doses administered 2-4 weeks apart.
- Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.
Precautions:
- Store out of direct sunlight at 35-45°F (2-7°C).
- Do not freeze
- Do not mix with other vaccines
- Use entire contents when first opened
- Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.
- Burn vaccine container and all unused contents
Warnings:
- Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs
- Do not vaccinate pregnant bitches
- The effect of persisiting bordetella bronchiseptica maternal antibody on the immune response in puppies to the bacterin has not been deteremined.
- Puppies from bitches immune to the organism usually how low antibody titers that are dissipated by 4-6 weeks of age.
- Transient local irritation at the site of injection, though rare, may occur subsequent to use of this product.
- The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-medicated hypersensitivity reactions. Antidote: Epinephrine, corticosteriods, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
